The Camp Fire has been the deadliest and most destructive fire in California history. THOUSANDS of people lost everything. This fire has and is continuing to affect tens of thousands of people and animals and although this has been a devastating time for Butte County, my heart is warm seeing the outpour of support within the community and surrounding areas. I'm so thankful for so many people but especially the first responders that must be so exhausted, for the veterinary hospitals, for people and businesses that are helping others with food, shelter, clothing, etc., for so many volunteers rescuing/taking care of people and animals, and for those who not only helped themselves but their neighbors get to safety 💜.
